  • European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants

    The European Foundation for the Care of New-born Infants (EFCNI) is a pan-European organisation representing parents and scientific experts with the aim of improving the long-term care of preterm and new-born infants with illnesses and support for their families.

    EFCNI encourages all those involved or interested in this issue to interact and exchange ideas. It promotes mutual understanding and serves as a platform for the initiation, coordination and integration of all local and national activities involving the care of newborn infants, prevention of preterm delivery, long-term care of preterm infants and support for parents and relatives. EFCNI is particularly keen to establish a link between parents, health professionals and scientists.

  • International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics

    The International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) is the only worldwide organisation that groups obstetricians and gynecologists. It has member associations in 125 countries/territories. Its Secretariat is based in London, the UK.  

    FIGO’s mission is to promote the well-being of women and to raise the standards of practice in obstetrics and gynecology.

    The mission of ARCOG, The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, is to facilitate and promote professionalism, affirm dedication to the educational process for women's health, and to foster the development of standards for residency coordinators in conjunction with CREOG.

  • The Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC)

    The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada is comprised of over 3,000 professional members, including gynaecologists, obstetricians, family physicians, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals.

    A leading authority on reproductive health care, the SOGC produces national clinical guidelines for both public and medical education on important women’s health issues.

    The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada granted the SOGC full accreditation as a Continued Professional Development provider for physicians and health care providers in Canada. The Society offers an impressive portfolio of professional educational activities including the Annual Clinical Meeting, Continuing Medical Education Programs, e-learning modules and its trailblazing MOREOB patient safety program.

    The SOGC’s mission is to promote excellence in the practice of obstetrics and gynecology and to advance the health of women through leadership, advocacy, collaboration, outreach and education.

  • Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG)

    The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) encourages the study and advancement of the science and practice of obstetrics and gynaecology. This is done through postgraduate medical education and training development, and the publication of clinical guidelines and reports on aspects of the specialty and service provision. RCOG Global Health Unit works with other international organisations to help lower maternal morbidity and mortality in under-resourced countries.

  • European College and Board of Obstetrics and Gynaecology

    EBCOG - the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology – was founded in 1996 and is the Board of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Section of the Union Européenne Médecins Spécialistes (UEMS). The members are National Societies of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, representing obstetricians and gynaecologists in the 36 member countries. The objective is to improve the health of women and their babies by promoting the highest possible standards of care in all European countries. This is done by advocating for OBGYN issues to be advanced in EU political institutions and by providing information to member societies about current and upcoming EU legislation relevant to OBGYN.

  • IFFS-UIT resource centre hosted by Reproductive Biomedicine Online

    The IFFS-UIT resource centre is hosted by Reproductive Biomedicine Online. Funded by the International Federation of Fertility Societies and Ferring, this resource centre provides access to the latest literature on infertility treatment. The site features peer-reviewed articles, video material from IFFS, UIT and other academic symposia, interviews with eminent researchers, Netter images and medical surveys.

    The Robert Edwards resource centre is hosted by Reproductive Biomedicine Online and funded by an educational grant from Ferring Pharmaceuticals. The resource centre contains freely available  articles published by Robert G. Edwards with Elsevier.

    • Calculate the due date  based on the first day of the last menstrual period
    • Calculate the due date based on the date of conception
    • Calculate the current gestational age based on the due date
    • Calculate the required conception date based on the due date
